I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Yelp
Interview
I applied for the position through a referral. A few days later, I received a phone call to complete to pre-screening, where they asked a few questions. Then we scheduled a phone interview for the next week. The phone interview consissted of questions asking why you're interested in Yelp and why you want to work in sales. After the phone interview, we scheduled the in person interview. The in person interview was interesting- we were given a tour of the office and got to see the job in action. Afterwards, we were brought into a conference room to watch a video and discuss the video in detail. Then the group was divided so that we each did our one-on-one interviews. The one-on-one also consists of questions regarding your interests in Yelp and how you think you would be successful. They also make you do a role play activity.
