Interview
The interview was standard procedure, but they failed to live up to their part of the bargain. They said if the company you're contracted to work for wouldn't take you they would keep you on and help you find another position. This is just not true. The interview was standard procedure, and it does help to have a developer background. just don't believe everything they tell you.
