From submitting an application to an offer was 3 weeks during the holiday period. Interviews were with other senior developers, (and one junior developer sitting in on an interview), architects, and the president. There was one telephone conversation with a recruiter followed by five one-hour remote interviews. The interviews were in a conversational format and I felt that they were fairly bidirectional. The president did spend an additional half hour answering questions that I had. They were honest about some of the difficulties they have in interviewing Seniors. When I asked questions, I did not receive the same answer from everyone, which suggests that my interviewers were free to answer honestly. There was only one question that involved writing code. All other questions were focused more on the higher level tasks that senior developers are responsible for.
