I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at WeWork (Bengaluru)
Interview
I recently completed a 4-round interview process that was well-structured and technically rigorous. The first two rounds were conducted on intervue.io, starting with DSA fundamentals and software engineering problem-solving, where the focus was on approach and complexity trade-offs rather than just correctness.
The second round shifted to low-level design — I was asked to design Tic Tac Toe using OOP principles, followed by a data schema design question covering table relationships, normalization, and indexing strategies.
Round three was a high-level system design problem: designing a global code deployment system. This involved discussing CI/CD pipelines, canary releases, multi-region consistency, failure handling, and observability — a solid test of distributed systems thinking.
The final round combined design with broader engineering challenges, focusing on architecture trade-offs, scalability patterns, and real-world engineering judgment.
Overall, the process was thorough and covered a great breadth — from algorithms to system design to production engineering. Each round felt purposeful, and the interviewers were engaged and collaborative. A solid experience for anyone looking to demonstrate full-stack engineering depth.
