I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Prince George, BC) in Jun 2016
Interview
I applied online, and received a call from the Prince George BC location to schedule an interview. When I arrived, it turned out there were four of us being interviewed by four managers in the same room, and we would go from "station to station" until we had been interviewed by each manager - this took approximately half an hour total. The fifth manager that was running the interview then talked to us a bit about walmart, asked each of us questions individually, and then opened the floor for questions. That was when I found out that they couldn't hire me for the position that I applied for (overnight stocker) because I was under 18, but up until then, there was no mention of it. The next day, the hiring manager (Ryan) called me back to offer me employment as a regular associate, which I was fine with. He asked me to come into the store as soon as possible to fill out a reference form. I went in the next morning and filled out the form with two references. This was in early June. It's now mid July and they never made contact with me again. Complete waste of time.

Very simple and straight to the point. Management asks basic get to know you questions but truly wants to know if you are reliable and dependable. They want to ensure you will show up to work.
