I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Washington, IL) in May 2025
Interview
They asked a lot of “what would you do questions”
It was easy. They offered me the job but the pay was a bit less than I expected. When I counter offered they said the pay was set for this particular cashier position so I told them I would be in touch. Ultimately, upon reflection, I decided to decline on the job. It was still an overall positive experience.
Not ideal. Low effiency. Lots of rounds. Waste of time.
The interviewer lack respect. Dont waste your time. Low wage.
Lots of works. interesting back. I dont belive its a good fit
Super easy, I really didn't have an interview, as long as you can pass the background and work the schedule you are golden. If you're previously worked for Walmart, you must be rehireable.
Asked simple ask the basic questions such as personality trait, and availability and gave scenarios about customer service and communication. It didn’t take that long and the interview was conducted by a manager.
