HR sent email ask me to prepare for machine learning related coding but in the interview terms out to be solving leetcode algorithm problems. Asked the interviewer why this happened, he had no idea also

Design an algorithm that traverses through the 4 points of a rectangle
It was not that bad, 3 initial rounds overall okay, it would have been nice if they added some more depth in questions and asked good questions.
and it would have been great if they call or tell something before interview.
terrible Data Scientist role interview process, took 3 months and got rejected after final interview where the interviewer didn't have my resume and asked something else which the recruiter did not mention to prepare

Interview
A recruiter phone call and then a coding round. SQL medium + predictive modeling. I think the modeling task could be a take-home assignment. However, the test was closed before the promised time. It was a 89-minute test.
