The interview process was well run and generally what you'd expect from a successful market leader. The day consisted of about 8 hours or 1:1 interviews. All tested to understand my personal story - why I'd done what I'd done in my career. The interviews then focused on testing for general skills. The most interesting things from the process were:
1) a lot of the questions were testing to see if I could fit into the culture, which is internally perceived as political and not very agile. Could I put up with it and work through/around it?
2) I didn't find the questions that challenging, nor did anyone take a contrary position and test my conviction and ability to fight for something. I think this is critical thing to look for when hiring business leaders.
