I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Novi, MI) in Apr 2013
Interview
I handed in my application in person and they seemed really excited to hire. About 3 weeks later I got a call to set up a group interview. I was energetic, i wore all black, and the interviewer seemed to really like my answers. I even e-mailed a thank you note to my interviewer. She even called my references who gave great reviews about me. I didn't hear anything for a week so I called and they said they already contacted those who got the job. I still don't know what I did wrong or what to do differently, I guess they just didn't like me...

Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
