Question 1
What is your availability for shifts (open availability?)
I applied online. I interviewed at Verizon (Omaha, NE) in May 2026
Interview
Before the interviews, you have to pass an assessment that tests your behavior in a sales environment. This was easy, but time consuming.
I got an intro call with a recruiter, got some pointers on second interview with the GM, which occurred the next week. The structure is: introductions, situational questions, and roleplay, which is half-mentored.
They basically wasted my time, because they didn't see my skills as transferrable but interviewed me anyway? It took an hour. The GM was very unprofessional, as he wasn't prepared beforehand, and he seemed to be half asleep.
I was told I'd get an offer or rejection the next week, but I ended up getting rejected in the middle of the night? Which is interesting.
