Interview
The interview has three different stages. First is an initial ten question test. Then they send you to a tech that asks more in depth questions. The final interview you talk face to face over Teams. The engineer doesn't want to hear anything about pay or that being the reasoning you want to join Veeam. He was quite rude and thought my position at my last company was made up. I heard from excoworkers that did get the job that Burt does not like you to be professional, he wants to joke around with you and see how you react to his jokes. Not what I expected from an interview and didn't get the job because I took it too seriously. The entire interview process took four days, it was long and exhausting and drained me by the end.

Question 1
What is the reason you want to join Veeam? Don't say pay increase... Don't be honest and lie to them about your real reasoning. They just want you to lie, and say you are looking to further yourself in the IT world.
He will ask you about a scenario where an angry client calls in and your mgmt isn't available, what do you do? Correct answers are not: Work with the client to dissuade their fears and work with them until an escalation tech becomes available. Let the client know that we're terribly sorry about the issue and that if he doesn't mind waiting I can get him to our senior technician when he becomes available. He said the client is still angry, what next after each of my answers. According to ex coworkers who got the job, he was joking with them by this point in the interview and breezed past this question in their interview. He did not pry further like he did with me.
