Had a screening with a very nice recruiter, then 2 panel interviews, I got feedback from the second interview within 30 minutes letting me know that it went incredible and the team loved me. After couple of emails to the recruiter, I got ghosted and only found out that I wasn’t the candidate they decided to select because I went into workday and peaked on my application. Looking for a new job is a very stressful situation, ghosting candidates only causes more stress and anxiety. At least an automated email should be sent to give closure to candidates that were super close to get the offer.
