I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Dec 2015
Interview
I applied online and within 2 weeks or less I was contacted for a webcam interview I did the interview it was fairly comfortable for me after the webcam interview about a week later I was sent an email for a f2f interview .I woke up early went to the interview an hr early conversated with the other candidates and smiled until my cheekbones hurt. Then at approximately 9 am the United crew came and introduced themselves we lined up and went on a shuttle for about 5 mins and we then went into a room where they explained to us the procedure ,the salary , training start dates and videos etc .They started calling people individually for interviews out of the room in no particular order they finally said my name I went and was interviewed by a really nice flight attendant it went well, she then placed me in a room with a group of about 5 .We were having conversations about being the chosen few because we were waiting to be called for what I later discovered was the ultimate interview.I was interviewed by two men that were head recruiters and they were a little intimidating they asked me a bunch of questions and truth be told I was nervously talkative , they told me they would step out the door for a few and then they came back and gave me that crappy "we will email you talk ".I knew this wasn't good because the people that didn't get a second interview was told that. After they escorted me back to the terminal I saw one of the FA I was talking to earlier and he said that they gave him a drug test etc so I knew that I had failed it once I didn't get a drug test .Moral of the story don't think you are out of the woods if you get a second interview in the same day , the second interview is the main one where you have to impress the head recruiters and word of advice relax .Dress well , feel and look confident and also eat food it doesn't help to interview on empty stomach they offered tea and coffee though :)

Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
