I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines in Sept 2015
Interview
I applied about a week before I got an invitation to do the HireVue interview. I had 5 days to complete and submit it. I did a lot of preparing for this interview because I had done one online about 2 years ago for American Airlines. I was turned down for the next phase of that one, so needless to say I did my homework for this one! I researched questions on here from previous applicants and watched several YouTube videos from flight attendants that were nice enought to share their experiences. The HireVue interview is a bit nerve wracking at first, but once you get started and are a bit more comfortable you get the hang of it. They allow you 3 practice questions at first, not recorded, to do as many times as you want. I took advantage of this to settle my nerves. Then there were 6 questions, all customer service related. 1. What do you think would make you a good flight attendant? 2. Give an example of when you went out of your way for a customer. 3. What was the best acheivement of your career so far? 4. Tell of a misconception customers and co-workers have of you. 5. Why do you think you would be a good fit for United? 6. Describe a time you had to deal with a difficult customer, what did you do? I am pretty sure these are out of order, but this is what I remember. Each question gave a 30 second prep time and then 3 minutes to fully answer each question. About 4 days later, I received an email asking me to set up a face to face interview. I have yet to do that part, so I will come back when I either am either moving to training, or back to my day job!

Question 1
1. What do you think would make you a good flight attendant?
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
