I joined UST as a design intern as part of my academic internship. The interview process was smooth and direct to the point. There were 2 rounds to the process. The first interview was conducted by a senior designer and the Director of Design Operations while the second interview was conducted by the aforementioned Design director and the Chief Design Officer. Both my interviews were 40-60 mins wherein I showcased my design projects I had done during my Bachelor's as well as some personal projects and class assignments. I also received critical feedback which helped me improve my understanding of my work and the field of design. The panel was eager to understand my thinking process and the reason for me making certain design related decisions in my work. Some of my projects were group projects wherein I had to showcase and highlight my contribution and how I fared as a team member. I also showcased original sketches for one of my graphic design works via camera. The panel also satisfactorily answered any and all of my doubts and questions. It was a very professional experience.
