We’re always open to constructive input, but it’s important to clarify a few things. The comment around candidates “jumping over the table” was simply an expression of the enthusiasm we expect especially for early-career opportunities with long-term potential. It was not intended to be rude, and it’s unfortunate that it was taken out of context.
Remote roles require a degree of proactivity and independence. At the time, we asked candidates to send the Zoom invite as part of the interview process. However, we updated this approach some time ago now, all candidates book their interview via a Calendly link that we provide. If your experience included the previous method, your interview likely took place several months ago.
