I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Waynesville, MO) in Dec 2015
Interview
There were a total of three phone screens/interviews over the course of three weeks. Each phone conversations was polite, professional and positive. The first phone screening was with a HR recruiter from HQs in Minneapolis, the second interview was with the HR Director in my desired location and finally I interviewed with the direct hiring manager. I was told by the hiring manager that HR would be in contact with me in a few days.

Question 1
Have you ever had to deal with stressful situations and stressful deadlines?
Long, drawn out, no communication from HR or the hiring manager on status or feedback following panel interview. It ended up being awkward with people I deal with on a daily basis.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at U.S. Bank in Feb 2026
Interview
Formalized process, not too many rounds, recruiter was prompt in responding to me. Pretty standard, recruiter call, HM call, team interviews, and then possible offer. No crazy take home assignments or excessive interview rounds.

They asked about my experience and relevant hypothetical questions.
I interviewed with them 8 years ago. I recommend them as an employer, however they are going through a lot of changes right now and I am not sure how it will impact their future.
