I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Reset Foundation (Berkeley, CA) in Sept 2016
Interview
The first interview was relaxed and casual. I was led through the facility (without the students there). I was contacted for a second interview. The Friday before my interview, I was sent a task by email at 5:30 and was told I must submit the task by 8am on Monday. This shocked me because I was out of town for the weekend. Thankfully, I had brought my computer. Didn't really like being blind-sided like that. However, I did the task and at the following Wednesday interview I was told I did an excellent job. They responded to my question about the last minute request for the task by saying people working there have to be really flexible and willing to adjust to things last minute. With the theme of flexiblity on the table, I explained that I have an older dog that I sometimes have taken to work with me - I wanted to know if they were flexible about that. That did not seem to go over well.

Question 1
They asked how I would address the needs of a student who is in their twenties but has a reading ability far lower than their age.
