I applied online. I interviewed at The Laurel Center (Winchester, VA) in Dec 2019
Interview
I found interviews at TLC to be thorough, fair, and enjoyable. When you arrive, you are given some paperwork to fill out and handed a full job description and given a chance to look over it. The interviewer (in my case the SA Coordinator) asked around 20 questions to help her determine your experience level, see how you might handle challenges, and give her a sense of who you are. The questions are relatively standard interview questions. You are then given the opportunity to ask questions of your own. I suggest you take advantage of this opportunity, as it gives her a better opportunity to get to know you. However, research the position well so you aren't asking things about the job that you should already know.
