I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Federal Way, WA) in Mar 2013
Interview
I applied online and received e-mail and a phone call by their automated system the next day. I called the phone number and was put through a process that involved part automated system part human interaction screening process. Received a phone call about a week later to scheduled my in person/face-to face-interview. I arrived at my scheduled interview and wen to the desk to check in, the lady at the desk was rude and very unprofessional as were most of the lazy employees in the store so I thought I had this on the bag, so to speak. The interviewer was pleasant and the interview went fine. Apparently I was not selected for the job as I have not had a response back since the time of the interview.
20-minute interview, asked scenario-based questions and experiences with customer service. The interview had a video call component and an in-person interview. The interview had questions about comfort with learning new programs and asked about availability.
it was short and it was simple very quick and they hired me on the spot probably due to needing people and being short staffed, but the staff was nice and polite they did also send me an email before hand to schedule my interview

Question 1
They asked several questions but due to the fact that I was so over qualified...it was 'how soon can you start".
