I was shortlisted from cutshort.io their HR contacted me and scheduled the first technical discusssion. I am a developer and a DevOps engineer so I was gonna be interviewed for both the skills. The first round was the DevOps round was asked some basic questions and was fine. The interviewer gave a very nice review as we really enjoyed the discussion. After a couple of days the second round was for Java programming, the interview got delayed so someone from operations joined the call and tried to apologise and tried to entertain me which I didnt like at all. The interviewer joined 15 mins late and asked a few java questions and a programming question which I answered easily. They didnt contact me for a week. I had to myself reach them out. So a day later the HR mails me that they wont be able to offer anything as skills and requirements dont match. Such a waste of time!! If skills dont match why did you interview me in the first place. Secondly, I didnt answer a single question wrong how the hell was I rejected !! if you dont want to hire stop hanging around and wasting time of the candidates. Very unprofessional process. I would recommend joining a better company with a better values and culture.
