I applied for the role at Tastezy Market through my campus placement drive. The process started with an initial online test which included aptitude, reasoning, and basic technical questions. The difficulty level was moderate, and it mainly tested problem-solving and logical thinking. After clearing this round, I was shortlisted for the technical interview.
In the first technical interview, the interviewer asked me questions on core subjects like Data Structures, OOPs, DBMS, and also some basics of web development. They also discussed my project, where I explained the tech stack I used and the challenges I faced while building it. The interviewer also tested my coding skills by giving me a couple of problem-solving questions to solve on the spot.
The second round was a mix of technical and managerial questions. Here, the interviewer focused more on my thought process, how I approach problems, and how well I could explain my solutions. They also asked me about teamwork, handling deadlines, and a few scenario-based questions related to project management.
Finally, the process ended with an HR round, where they asked me about my background, strengths and weaknesses, why I was interested in joining Tastezy Market, and my willingness to relocate if required. The HR was very friendly and mainly assessed communication skills and cultural fit.
Overall, it was a good learning experience. My preparation mainly revolved around practicing coding questions from LeetCode and GeeksforGeeks, revising core computer science subjects, and preparing answers for common HR questions. My advice to future candidates would be to stay confident, revise the basics thoroughly, and be ready to explain your projects clearly, as they play a big role in technical discussions.
