I applied online, and waited a few weeks for a response. I eventually got a call asking me to come in for an interview. When I arrived I was directed to a computer to take a personality and behavior questionnaire. It was ~250 questions, but was not particularly difficult. Afterwards I was called in for 3 consecutive interviews, of increasing length, and with people of increasing importance. I don't remember exactly what position my first interviewer was, but the second person was one of ~6 executive managers in the store, and the final was the Store Team Lead (top manger). Each interviewer has a predetermined list of behavioral questions to ask, and the recorded your answers. E.g. "Name a time when you had to solve a problem like _____. Tell what the problem was, how you come up with a solution, and what the final outcome was." At the end of the final interview the STL went off script to ask me other questions that pertained to the specific duties I would be performing if hired, and that phase went very well. When I left, I was told the HR manager was on vacation, but she would be back in a week, and I would hear something then. In about a week I received a phone call about doing a drug test within 24 hours. I did that, and after the results got back to HR, I was called in for orientation. Orientation was a group effort, with other new hires present, and was just general information, mostly on video. Orientation took 5-1/2 hours, and I walked out with my work schedule.
