I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Newton, NC) in Dec 2021
Interview
One informal interview with recruiter, followed by an email with details/examples of the next step. An follow-up more formal interview with recruiter a few days later. A week later I did a Zoom interview with 2 managers from the local Distribution Center, followed by another Zoom interview with 2 different managers from the building about a week later. Finally, a 30 minute get to know you, fairly informal, Zoom call with the manager that I’d be working for. All questions are in to be answered in the STAR format, which is made very clear by each of the interviewers. The process took some time, approximately a month, which was longer than I expected, or would have ideally wanted, but it was the greatest interviewing experience I’ve ever received.

Question 1
Describe a time that you worked with someone that didn’t agree with, how did you overcome that?
For my internship you start with an online interview answering questions into the camera. Then if they like you, you have a second interview that they send you a packet to prepare with. All of the questions are about what you do in a certain scenario. Majority are management/leadership questions.

Question 1
How do you work with others who think differently?
First had phone interview. Progressed to on-site interview which was initially conducted simultaneously with another candidate. Walked the floor of the distribution center and interacted with Target employees. Then had two separate interviews which were both were one-on-one.
