I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Oct 2018
Interview
Met recruiters at career fair at university, gave them my resume. They contacted me for an oncampus interview where they asked me all behavior questions. Later they flew me out to Minneapolis where I had two interviews with engineers and after they gave us a tour of the headquarters and of the city. Overall was a good experience!

There was a recruiter phone screening, then a final video interview with the recruiter giving a short presentation about the company, followed by several rounds of interviews with engineers (both behavioral and technical questions).
Received offer after internship. Easy conversion to full time after doing well enough during their summer internship, had to meet their benchmarks. Got summer internship from university campus recruiting where the questions asked on-campus were behavioral and not that challenging either.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2019
Interview
First step: Recruiter interview. Next: two technical interviews with senior engineers, either by phone or onsite. Final interview was with a senior engineer. The entire process was positive for me. I really felt connected to their company culture, and unlike other companies, I was respected by these engineers. I got 5 offers out of graduation and I chose Target because they treated me with respect and their engineers fit the culture that I am looking for.
