I applied online and at the recruiter screening round I was told there will be four interviews only. However at the third stage, the VP( who is an inexperienced fresh out of college graduate) casually mentioned they wanted to introduce an assignment in the process. I went ahead and did it followed by a panel presentation. There were no comments made on it other than positive feedback. About two weeks later and no follow up from the recruiter I followed up for an update only to be informed they moved ahead with another candidate and no feedback was provided. I must also mention their take home assignment was a real business problem and the expectations of the incumbent seemed to be different from the actual job description. Seems like they are phishing for free work and are run by people who have very little real world experience. Interviewers however were polite throughout the process.
