I start by spotting a job on LinkedIn or a company site, then tweak my resume and cover letter to match the role. Submitting feels like a leap of faith. If I’m lucky, I get a call for a quick phone screening where they gauge my skills and vibe. Next comes the video call—usually on Zoom—where I’m grilled on my experience and how I solve problems. Sometimes, there’s a technical test or case study, which is nerve-wracking but exciting. If things go well, I might head in for a final interview. Then it’s waiting, maybe some reference checks, and negotiating the offer. It’s stressful, but I prep hard and try to show my best self.
