Thank you for taking the time to write the review. At Systum, we always take any feedback as an opportunity to look at what we are doing and what could we be doing differently.
Systum is a relatively young and fast-growing company. We will no doubt make mistakes and have the opportunity to learn and improve in many areas as we move forward. Based on your feedback, which has been taken very seriously, we have taken an introspective look at our interviewing process to ensure our future and current employees have an environment and company in which they can thrive.
I'd like to respond to the specific concerns you raised and let you know and what we are doing based on your comments.
We will re-evaluate our interview process to address your concerns in regards to false promises and ensure candidates are clear on the intent of questions. In no way did we intentionally make an effort to mislead you. We do discuss salary expectations and possible start dates with potential candidates in an effort to understand their availability and fit within our needs, but we do not intend for interview conversations to be promises of salary or employment. Like most organizations Systum commits to employment offers and terms in writing.
With regards to inappropriate remarks made against certain types of individuals, I can tell you that this is not tolerated. Systum employees are all passionate about what we do, and like any high energy, dedicated group the team can get a little loud and direct at times, but the comments should never be directed against any type of person.
We strive to make sure we are an equal opportunity employer. This can only be achieved if we maintain an environment where everyone can feel comfortable and happy working. We have never and will not in the future accept any behavior in the workplace which doesn't help us meet or exceed those standards.
We have engaged an HR specialist company to make sure our employees have the support and benefits they deserve; this organization brings skills and capabilities to Systum that we currently do not currently staff internally. In order to obtain and retain top talent it is important that, in addition to a positive work environment, we provide a good benefits package, and a full range of HR tools, processes and support to our employees.
I can only reiterate that I genuinely care about this company, our team and our customers. The people are what makes our company great, so it is essential we continue to strive to provide an environment where everyone can feel comfortable and flourish.
