Good, very informal interview with owner. Overall, I would say it was helpful to review all the issues since this was a position that was shared between an Alberta company and their company. After the interview, we went to go and see the production site.

Interview
Met with shop forman, president and some guy who didn't say anything just played with his phone. Interview was quick. They seemed to need welders for 2 shifts. Couple of guys had quit unexpectedly.

Experience and fabrication tools used. Basic stuff that was listed on my resume. Don't think they read my resume at all. Shop foreman told me turnover is high (red flag). After I had the interview I asked around about the company and heard a few negative comments. They don't pay well. Didn't accept the offer.

Application - asking questions that are clearly laid out in your resume - eg. last 3 employers. 1st interview - was interviewed by the owner and some guy who never stated his position within the company. That 2nd guy was horribly unprepared and knew nothing about my resume. Owner knew lots, but kept quiet for the most part, 2nd interview - never happened.
