I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sysco (Pittsburgh, PA) in Mar 2011
Interview
Hiring process was interesting. It took much more time than I thought it would. The right hand didn't seem to know what the left hand was doing. Interviewing process wasn't organized at all. They informed you that your interview would be at this time, but the interviewing time started roughly one and a half hours later. Wasn't sure if they knew what they were doing.

Question 1
Why do you want this job? If I didn't want this job, why wouldn't even be here? Management couldn't tell me why they had such a large turn over in their sale force.
It went well. Nice people. They were interested in my interest in food sales and my desire to work hard. I met with three different people. They seem to want to build a strong team.
The interview process was very long and fairly disorganized. First, there is a phone interview, then I was invited to a hotel for in-person interviews. After a few weeks, I was asked to come to the ofiices for another interview.
I was interviewed by 3 different people in a round robin process. Each interview was private and then I would move on the next person for the interview. All interviewers were polite and nice.
