    Pass the buck mentality is systematic at this stage

    Make as much money as you want, flexible schedule, strong supportive leadership and room to grow within the company

    Cons

    Company is going thru some growing pains right now, growing is good, it's not all that bad!

    Pros

    Excellent benefits, including employee stock options. Extensive training.

    Cons

    Lack of focus. Trying to be all things to all people. Extremely fast paced environment with constant change. Poor follow through on management. Demanding. The company lacks culture. Constant turnover both in management and sales people.

    Advice to Management

    Focus. You will never get to the water by digging too many shallow wells. Put people first.

    Stock options, Flexible schedule, Aggressive 401 K, Benefits , fair amount of training

    Cons

    Low compensation, High turnover, lack of focus, no follow thru from leadership to customers & to employees, NO CULTURE!! Sysco Speaks has proven to observe employee's suggestions, but does not follow thru to make improvements.

    Advice to Management

    Corporate leaders and local leaders.. if you are going to talk the talk, please walk the walk. Corporate motto is to be its customers most valued and trusted business partner… the employees would like to be able to feel that Sysco is being a valued and trusted business partner to the employees and it's simply not happening.

    OT = $$$$$ (if you don’t mind being their slave)
    Good benefits with no out of pocket charge

    Cons

    Mandatory OT
    Overworked
    Sometimes you end up having to layover, but you don’t get paid for that time spent away from your family and your bed.
    You become their slave
    Routers don’t know what they are doing
    FAVORITISMS

    Advice to Management

    Stop the favoritisms, retrain/correct routers, listen to your drivers! They have good ideas.. acknowledge good workers! That goes a long way. Your employee retention wouldn’t be so low if you did.
