Simple interview looking into my passions for hospitality. What I would be interested in doing during my internship and what I can offer in terms of skill set. Overall the internship was mostly to see how I would fit into the company and be able to experience the most during my time.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sydell Group (Washington, DC) in Aug 2018
Interview
It was very natural. It was conversation with 3 Exco members. They really just wanted to get to know you and your make sure you had the passion for hospitality. I felt very comfortable which allows me to be honest and show my best self.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sydell Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
Quick and painless. Asked about my experience and knowledge of food/beverage/wine. Interview took place right outside the restaurant. Was hired on the spot - though I was referred highly by a current employee so that could have helped/sped up the hiring process. There was no background or reference check.
