I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Swish Fibre (London, England) in Aug 2022
Interview
The interview process was detailed and well organised, The interview was both run remote then later stages in the office, The staff were very open with the answers to my questions and also professional and made me feel comfortable.
The interview was challenging enough that i could tell getting the right candidate was really important to them.
it was extremely evident that the technical director was an expert in his field and that he cared deeply about what he had set to achieve and whom he employed to help make that dream a reality. This was absolutely the most powerful pull to work for this company and the decision to decline the offer was purely made by the location and counter offer by my current employer.
I feel that this would have been a fantastic company to work for and grow with.

Question 1
there was a question around network protection during times of extreme weather as there had been a very hot week or two on the lead up to the interview

Interview
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Swish Fibre in March 2023 Interview Initial call with HR talent sourcing member and 1 stage MS Team video call with 2 managers (IT and Operations). No further stages to follow after that (no updates either when was told would get update 1 week later but the manager went "suddenly" on annual leave so was left with no further progress update in over 3 weeks). Otherwise it was an easy straightforward 2nd stage interview. Was able to answer all questions and gave a clear example for each of their POI and questions about suitable skills to do the job and we talked a lot about my CV than the potential role itself. If recruitment process is so misleading and they break promises before hiring can hardly imagine what the "company culture" from management may look like which seems like a big red flag for potential job seekers. So be sure what their role expirations and targets are before you accept anything. So far not happy with the lack of professionalism due to being a "new player" in the market this is really nothing out of ordinary for a lot of companies these days unfortunately.
