I applied on-line and was invited to come in for a free class. From there I was invited to interview. It was explained that the training involved two phases. An intensive three-day weekend with a test on day 4. Followed by a second intensive weekend. There was a $500 training fee which included unlimited classes and 35% off boutique items. During training you're expected to take 3-4 classes each week. You test out by reciting the warm-up which is always the same 14-15 min routine. Phase II involved 45 days of self-driven but guided training. The choreography changes regularly and each time there are more routines to master. The final test out lasts a full hour. Barre (tender)s receive reviews at 30-60-90 day intervals. The studio was beautiful, the people were friendly, but I realized it was not for me.
