I recently went through two interviews with Stryker, and I must express my deep frustration and disappointment with the entire experience. It is with a heavy heart that I share my feedback, as I had high hopes for this company. However, the lack of professionalism and disregard for candidates' time and effort was truly disheartening. During my first interview, the interviewer called for a phone interview without even realizing that the advertised position was for Adelaide, while they were actually seeking someone for Melbourne. This blatant oversight wasted my valuable time and left me feeling deceived. As for the second interview, I applied in early March and received an email for a phone interview a staggering 20 days later. Initially, I was understanding when the interviewer requested to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. However, the subsequent events only added to my frustration. I agreed to the rescheduled date, but on the day of the interview, I received an email stating that the interviewer would be conducting the interview from her car. Despite my willingness to accommodate this situation, she called me a whopping 20 minutes late and was visibly distracted throughout the conversation, clearly engaged in something unrelated (which I found to be utterly disrespectful). To make matters worse, after the interview, the interviewer mentioned that I would be informed of their decision within a week. Days passed, and I decided to send a courteous follow-up email, expressing my gratitude for the opportunity and requesting feedback. Surprisingly, I received no response. Two weeks went by, and I tried once again to reach out, this time specifically asking for feedback. Yet again, my email was met with complete silence. Three long months after I initially applied, I received an automated email informing me that the position had been closed. What added insult to injury was the fact that there was no mention of any feedback from the interviewer, leaving me completely in the dark. My experience with Stryker's recruitment process can only be described as a complete disaster. The lack of communication, unprofessional conduct, and the overall disregard for candidates is something I never expected from a reputable company. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience consider pursuing any future opportunities with Stryker, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. I sincerely hope that Stryker takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary improvements to ensure a more respectful and efficient interview process for all candidates.
