I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stryker (Lake Oswego, OR) in Aug 2024
Interview
The initial interview process for the Associate Sales Representative - IVS role began with a 30-minute phone interview scheduled with Julia Tsai, PHR, SHRM-CP. Julia reached out to me via email to confirm the interview, providing clear instructions to review the relevant products linked in the job posting before our discussion. She also emphasized the importance of being prepared to discuss my qualifications and experience in relation to the role.
The phone call was well-structured and focused on understanding my background, skills, and how they align with the expectations of the Associate Sales Representative role. Julia provided a comprehensive overview of the responsibilities associated with the position and highlighted the qualities Stryker values in its employees. She also took the time to answer any questions about the role, the team dynamics, and the company's culture.
Overall, the process was professional and informative, giving me a strong understanding of the role and what Stryker is looking for in a candidate.

I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker (Vancouver, BC) in Apr 2026
Interview
Interview was conducted remotely from a representative outside of the country. While I understand the company is a large corporate entity, the Interview process felt impersonal and like the role itself was not particularly important

Please give an example of one time you worked as a member of a team to solve a problem.
I was emailed to interview for a position in my city. I spent 2 days preparing and took time off from my current position only to get a call from the recruiter that the position i was interviewing for was filled already. They wanted to know if i was interested in relocating cities. I found the lack of communication to be very strange. A simple email would've been productive as i was super excited about the opportunity to even get the interview! Disappointing!
