Very straightforward. Most interested in passion for learning about coffee and where you are willing to put in the technical work to make good coffee. Very different than most barista jobs as the standards are much higher, as is the learning curve. No discrimination.

Why are you interested in working in craft coffee?
Very relaxed. They were mostly interested in seeing if you're passionate about learning about coffee. Experience is probably nice, but lots of people get hired without any. Be friendly since its a customer service job and make sure you're willing to learn and practice coffee a lot.

Informal setup through email. Interview takes place in cafe. Seemed to be looking for people with a passion and interest in the specialty coffee industry. Previous experience not needed as they put an emphasis on training.
