I got invited for an interview, got asked a couple easy questions about my current job, expected salary and my background, got told a bit about the hotel and the job itself. The interview went quite well, I was told that I’ll get a call back in a few days, but actually was called 11 days after to come get a job offer and possibly sign a contract. I met with the manager, then the HR, was told about the benefits, filled out a form about myself, signed the contract(!), was given the key for clocking in and out and given the uniform, but then was stopped by the manager and told that my outfit was inappropriate for signing a contract (they already saw me before all of that and said nothing!), that they thought I could start earlier (I had the 2weeks notice period with my previous job and we spoke about that earlier) and that they found somebody who can start straight away. So they told to throw away all the papers they gave and cancelled my contract.
