The first interview needed to be rescheduled at the last minute as the CEO was caught in another meeting. After waiting half an hour in front of Google Meets, hr and I decided to reschedule.
The following interview, the CEO was again caught up in another meeting, but this time thankfully, was done within 15 minutes. One of the first things the CEO told me was that they would not be able to pay me as much as my current company is paying me (!), and as I work in a reputable university, my employer must be loaded. The rest of the interview was quite ok until it was time for me to ask him questions. I asked him what the normal day-to-day operations for a fundraiser look like and what percentage between paperwork and going out and meeting donors I could expect. He dismissed me by saying something to the effect of, whatever is it that fundraiser supposed to do, you will do. This is the first time I have encountered an interviewer not reply to an interviewee's question.
