Interview
Applied on line and heard back within the week, which was awesome. First interview went well and finished with a clear plan to setup an interview with the relevant manager. Day when I was supposed to hear back goes by with no contact, so I follow up to make sure I am still being considered. I find out I am still be considered, and that the manager's schedule had become too busy, so a new time is set up to schedule a meeting that works with the manager's schedule. Once again, day goes by with no contact so I assume I am dropped, but I only find this out 3 weeks later when I am told they had moved forward with someone else. I respect the decision, but it seems strange to start the interview process and be clearly told you are moving forward, only to be told find out you are not much later.
tl;dr: was told I was moving forward, until I found out I was not

Question 1
Basic resume overview, slight focus on relevant experience (what data analisys work have you done, what do you like about Spotify, what would you change, etc.). No technical questions.
4 rounds process, incl. take-home case. Interviews were relatively straightforward with HR, Hiring manager, and Directors in the team. Mix of behavioral and technical questions. Take-home case was quite time consuming but very relevant for the role (recieve data set with a case question - expected to build a financial model and short presentation deck)
Interview was with HR. A very unpleasant experience: 1) The Interviewer was late and no apology was given. 2) No pleasantries or how are you, just straight into the robotic questioning. 3) HR said that if I had any questions I should email, I had to ask if I could ask questions during the call. Worst interview experience I have had. The HR interviewer shouldn't be vetting candidates as it gives a bad impression of Spotify.
Interview was okay, interviewers were patient and friendly and they took the effort to learn more about the candidate by asking the right questions. Not many stressful questions were asked.
