The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Spina Bifida Association (Washington, DC)
Interview
The process was run by a third party, drawn out over about a month, typical behavioral questions, received clues about internal struggles at the organization, small overworked staff and recent layoffs
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time when you had to prioritize several critical projects
It was swift and interesting. There was a prescreening then followed by panel of interviewer. More or less competence and experience questions. I was asked series of questions like... What's your strength and how will you add to our values and culture
I applied online. I interviewed at Spina Bifida Association in Jan 2022
Interview
Interviewer showed up late to the interview (Zoom). Would not look me in the eye and was clearly doing other things while I was answering questions. Job was posted as remote but turned out not to be. Interviewer asked me to email him to follow up on the job status if I didn't hear anything. Sets a poor precedent as manager before even starting the process. I was offered a second interview but declined.
