I applied online. The process took 11 months. I interviewed at Southwest Airlines (New Braunfels, TX) in Feb 2019
Interview
Recruiter was horrible and rude from the minute she called. She said she wanted to cancel today due to her being sick, but if she did then there would be a mob. I told her I would've understood. One more week after waiting almost an entire year for a phone interview wouldn't have bothered me especially if this would have changed her to a more positive mindset. She told me thats ok this will only take 15 minutes anyway. that sort of thru me for a loop. she methodically read off questions so fast I could barely understand her. They were yes or no questions. Then without hesitation she read off an interview question. I had to catch up to what she was asking because she was reading so quickly. I understand if I was not what they were looking for except I feel like she had a bad attitude from the beginning. She was not at all the fun loving attitude that Southwest strives to be. It was very disappointing.I feel like Southwest should know how their recruiters treat prospective employees. well it may not help me. I hope it helps someone in the future. if anyone has the same experience I hope they let Southwest know what happened. Good Luck to the rest of you.

The interview was on zoom in 2022. It was with a recruiter and flight attendant. They were very nice and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process. The whole interview took around 30 minutes.

Interview
So far, it has been moving at a great pace. I have only completed my on demand interview, and I am scheduled to attend my face to face in the near future! The online interview was great - be yourself, smile, and use the uninterrupted time to really express yourself! I'm very grateful for this opportunity and best of luck to all those applying!
