I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Solution Design Group in Jun 2023
Interview
My interview was virtual, and consisted of a few questions involving ReactJS, vanilla Javascript, and HTML/CSS. The process was very straightforward and wasn't vague at all and seemed to pinpoint critical aspects of each technology to ensure you understand them at least at a basic level. No behavioral questions were asked, as they are in a separate interview. The behavioral part, according to my interviewer, is a formality and an offer is almost assuredly going to be made assuming you don't royally mess up somehow. These are actual questions but are not all-inclusive: 1. ReactJS-specific questions (what does useCallback do, how would you pass data from child to parent component and vice versa) 2. Javascript specific questions like (what is a closure, what is a Promise) 3. HTML/CSS: explain flexbox layout. Some of the questions were very simple, but some were outdated too since design-systems like Material

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Solution Design Group (Golden Valley, MN) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview process was very nice. The team at SDG communicates well, are passionate about their work, and have a good idea of what they are looking for in a consultant. There was an initial phone screen with an internal recruiter The second round is a Technical interview with a senior-level engineer The third round is an interview with the business team/relevant managers.
