      Sales Interview

      28 Jun 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Snaphunt in Mar 2024

      Interview

The first stage of the hiring process is a video call to discuss roles and expectations. This is followed by a second interview with the hiring manager or their client, and then a request for references. Next, there is an "assessment test" which is actually real work. For salespeople, they ask you to demonstrate how you generate leads and build a list, and then they request an actual list from you—essentially getting free work. You comply diligently and are keep hanging with comments like "client is reviewing and will send you an update asap" and "you are a top candidate." Then, they ghost you completely. This whole ordeal took 2 months, and even the client did not have the courtesy to inform you of the final decision. What a waste of time.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The initial interview includes questions about your background, experiences, and salary expectations. When you ask them about the salary budget for the role, they don't have an answer. Interview with the hiring party or the client involved job-specific questions. In my case, my process and tools in generating leads, etc.
