I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sentinel (Tempe, AZ) in Mar 2016
Interview
It was very focused on intercommunication and style more than technical knowledge. There certainly were technical aspects, but the focus was more on the team leads understanding how you work. This concept was reinforced after seeing that the company is very focused on training internal resources and building up new skills rather than placing individuals only into specific roles.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sentinel (Tempe, AZ) in Feb 2016
Interview
I applied for Sentinel through Dice.com and was contacted within a week of application. The hiring lady was very cheerful, helpful and upbeat about helping to schedule an interview that worked with my limited time frame. I was initially put through a simple tech screen over the phone. Then was setup for a group call with the team. Tech questions were asked as well as tech experience to give insight into my skillset.
Once I passed this, I was setup with an in-person interview to meet the team and see the facilities. A verbal offer was made and the written offer came to my email the following Monday.
Very pleasant, everyone was willing to work around MY time frames and the people were very nice. Awesome!
We are happy to hear you had such a positive experience throughout the hiring and on-boarding process! Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback--it is greatly appreciated!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sentinel (Tempe, AZ) in Dec 2013
Interview
Interview was remote, via Skype (I was International). Interviewed with Branch Manager, Technical Engineer, and Project Manager. Interested in past experience. Not overly technical but enough to gauge ability. Very casual conversational interview. Not very unnerving. Everyone was introduced and was very polite. They asked questions about my past couple of jobs, experience with different technologies like EMC, AD, UCS, Etc. Everyone seemed engaged.
