I was contacted by an external recruiter for a senior management role. I met with my direct manager and multiple peers - 5 interviews. I thought the process was complete but had to interview with another peer from a different BU. I understand why, but the process was pretty long.

Interview
Short and sweet. Impressive organization... decent pay. I have gotta say that I was thrown off the hiring manager and her general approach to interviewing. But to be fair, this was only first interview in 22 years and only the fifth interview of my life.

Contacted by a recruiter, mentioned an internal contact. Called later that day for initial interview. Met with 4 people, was told the answers to next interview. Met with the SVP 2 weeks later and had an offer within a few days.

None. It was all textbook. I think they were more interested in how I presented myself than listening. In fact, I probably spoke about 1/4 of the time.
