I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SEON (Amsterdam) in Jul 2025
Interview
I had a very positive experience with the application process. Contributing factors were:
1) all of the interviews could take place within 2-3 weeks so it felt super quick and smooth
2) the communication with the TA manager was great, she was very clear about the process and it felt like she was always available to guide me through each step
3) I was impressed with everyone I spoke with, they all seemed very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in my background and what I could bring to the team
4) clear company culture, everyone emphasized the importance of an open, non-hierarchical and positive culture which i have also experienced during onboarding
5) the offer felt like something I couldn't refuse, it was a step up from my previous salary and the two benefits (healthcare and pension) are the only ones that truly matter to me. Both of these are really great plans which shows that SEON is really willing to invest in their people.
A less positive experience was that due to public holidays in the US and the UK I had to be a bit more patient before receiving my offer. Everything else was exactly like you'd imagined and hoped the application would be!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your approach to selling; can you share some of the success you've had and some of the negative experiences and what you learned from them?
Jess and the team made the interview process smooth and straightforward, with clear steps and regular updates throughout.
First step was an initial exploratory call, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and key stakeholders.

Question 1
Describe your sales approach, motivation and key examples of cross-team collaboration.
Good initial interview with a friendly recruiter, followed by a good interview with a sales manager. After that an interview with a "peer" where the toxicity started to show. After 4 interviews, company didn't even bother to send a simple email on the result. Complete lack of professionalism and respect for people. I wouldn't have accepted the job anyway as I reached out to some current employees and their feedback confirmed the toxic culture of the company and most were looking to leave the company themselves.

Typical, boring interview questions, nothing out of the box.
