      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SAP (London, England) in Mar 2016

      Interview

The interview consisted of 3 stages. I had an initial phone call with the recruitment officer which lasted about an hour and we went through my CV and skimmed over some basic questions about my current position and why I was interested in the one that I was applying for. Then I had another phone call with one of the managers within the team who took me through what the culture of the company and the team were, what was actually expected as day to day responsibilities and tasks. With him we went through much more details about the job that I was doing at the time and how I was seeing myself fit within the potentially new role. This conversation took around an hour and a half. Following this I had meeting with the regional manager and the EMEA manager. First I had an hour with the regional who described how the culture was tailored for the needs of the office and the size of the local team. He asked me further about what I liked about my current job and what I wanted to actually do in the long term. Afterwards the EMEA manager replaced him and continued the conversation more in terms of my personality and what I was expecting from the future ahead along with how I could describe myself if I were one of my best friends.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The EMEA manager asked me about one of my hobbies and why I had highlighted it in my CV.
