Applied online, was invited for interview at short notice. Interview lasted an hour and was followed by editorial test, also lasting an hour. I was interviewed by two people, who seemed friendly and pleasant. Interview questions were as expected, mainly about experience and skills. The test was ridiculous, there were five tasks to do in an hour, including researching and writing, on an unfamiliar computer with a terribly clunky keyboard. Given than this was an editorial/communications role I would have thought it would be better to have one or two editorial tasks and enough time to complete them, rather than rushing through several.
