I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2014
Interview
Met at a job fair. The HR guy was very nice had a phone interview and then went to LA and met with various buyers for a couple different interviews. Definitely be prepared about yourself, the company, and do background on who you meet. Honestly a great company culture. I would prepare yourself with questions for them and be very proficient in Excel. Also they liked to be called "off price". Do not bring up any negative connotations with being off price.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Ross Stores
Interview
I went through and introduction interview, and was told that the main team lead was on vacation, but would go through formal interviews once they got back. I sent multiple emails in the coming month, even just to get an official NO. The job is still posted and I have never been contacted again.

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit for this role?
The interview went ok but they never closed the loop with me/didn't tell me that they weren't going to proceed with me as a candidate. She asked me about the salary I wanted and seemed taken aback by what I asked for even though I don't think it was unreasonable.
